How to make a curtain that changes with the light

Redoing the décor of your bedroom is always fun for everyone, except for the one who has to pay for it. Even the slightest change, like new curtains, makes a deep dent in your pocket. But Instructables user  Enguyen16 took it upon herself to change things up while keeping her wallet intact, and she made just the perfect thing! All she bought was a cheap shower curtain, and she drew on it and the result is stunning.

Naturally, the supplies did not cost her more than a few dollars, from a thrift shop.

She then found a design (for free) online, added a grid overlay on it to make the drawing part easier, and used that as her final image.

Next, she used the folds on the curtain as a grid, and following the picture, she drew the outline of the tree in pencil.

Once she was satisfied with the pencil lines, she traced them with a black permanent marker, and then painted the flowers white with some whiteout.

She then proceeded to fill in the rest of the tree with the permanent marker, and then she was done.

All she did next was hang it up in front of a second shower curtain so that it does a good job at preventing too much sunlight from coming in.

It looks amazing, is very cheap to make, you can choose whatever design you want, and best of all, it changes according to the amount of light outside. What more could you want? Thanks Enguyen16 here!
